Clark Kent

Hey, all. Just post here if you need to contact me but I'm not on AIM or if you have any questions, complaints, or other comments about how I'm playing Clark Kent. He's from the DCAU, not the comics, so there might be some differences between the two.

For the record, he does have a very high weakness to magic, so barring kryptonite, that'd be the best way to hit him and make it stick.

That...well, it's all over now. People are dying again over here, and I suppose that's better than the alternatives to that. Nobody...nobody I really know was too harshly affected by it, but I'd imagine it's not quite the same for everyone else. And if that's the case, then I'm truly very sorry about all this. It appears--well, judging from comments made on the community recently, that this was caused by Hades going on strike. However, as the culprit has vanished from the community, there really can't be any punishment for him, besides what he already received. Still, in any case, I suppose the question of the hour is are you all right?

[Locked/Extremely mindnumbingly hard to hack]
Tim's still missing. I feel I'm...rather useless in this search and rescue. I'll have to work on that in the future. I'm not entirely sure what I'd do if Tim got mixed up in this Death Strike. Still, I'll... continue to hope he's alive and well, and if not the latter, that he'll be back shortly. By now, I'm sure that they can do practically anything if given the chance. I just...really wish that they didn't have to.

It's a very nice day outside, very bright and sunny. Of course, that just means I had to work doubly hard on this story, inside. It's almost finished, and it should appear in the paper tomorrow, but...well, there's no telling what might happen this afternoon, and Lois is on a hot streak. Still, I should at least get in on the by-line, and that's good enough for me.

I...I have a little bit of a headache, and my side's still sore from the other day. It's getting better, though, and it really only hurts if I twist the wrong way. I can't imagine where I got it from, but it's feeling much better today, and the bruise is gone.

Luckily, I get to go home soon, and enjoy the rest of the day in the sunshine. I'll reply back to your comments as soon as I can, but there might be some delays. It's such a nice day out today, so I'll probably park myself down on a nice bench and enjoy, well, the park.

Oh, but I do have a question for you, just a small one. What's the weather like today, where you're from?

((OOC: Sorry, Pele, moving on a little bit, but you can still tag back if you want or do an aftermath post, whatever you want!))

It didn't work. Tatsumi wouldn't listen to him, and honestly, he can't blame him. So, he has to move onto Plan B, he has to move on to other people. If he can't talk them down, if he can't stand in the way of the oncoming storm, the least he can do is handle this the direct way. He's not god. He swears he's not. He can't stop people from dying, and he can't save everyone. But he knows by heart people need him, somewhere. And he knows he has to stop someone from going on a rampage.

Even with superspeed, Kal-El's too late coming into Hawaii. He'll have to be even faster. Already, there are smoke clouds brewing over the bays and green, green land. Already there are people choking on ash. He takes a breath, suspended in the air, and then he dives, down from his invisible perch in the sky. He has work to do, and an angry Goddess that needs to be talked to, needs to be stopped. By any means necessary.

"Pele. I know what you're up to. Stop this."

Kal-El's voice echoes, in the dimming yellow light. His red cape billows in the wind.

The short version: You can't reveal Supes = Clark. Ever. If your character ICly knows it, okay, but if they're from another canon, please, please keep the secret identity underwraps. In other words? The only person as of right now who should be wandering around knowing this stuff and commenting on it? The Flash. Everyone else? Sorry, but no dice. It's a lot harder to guess than it looks, and yes, I know the glasses are a little lame, but please don't just waltz up and start announcing he's Superman left and right. If you do? You lose, good day sir.

Clear it by me if your character even has the knowledge that Clark Kent = Superman! I'm on AIM at insovietme, and most times, you can reach me like that, but you can also reach me by gmail (boxofgrenades@gmail.com) and this journal post!

Oh, and comment here if you want to plot with the man in tights! Anything from saving kittens to stopping the supervillains, we can work something out!

Hi there. I'd just like to thank everyone who helped me out with my...browser issues the other day. You really, really helped me out, and I understand this place a lot better now than I did the other day. If you ever need anything just, um, let me know, and I'll try to help. It's really the least I could do.

Mr. Tony Stark, and quite a few more of you, mentioned that this place is a ...meeting ground between various other worlds. Would anyone mind telling me where they come from, and what it's like there? It's all strictly confidential, so don't worry, I won't tell a soul. Scout's honor. If you're worried about other people finding out, put it behind a lock.

Me? I'm from Metropolis, a city on Earth. There's a lot of cities in the world, but there aren't very many like mine. It's very vibrant, like its almost alive somehow, very bright and loud and shining. It's almost simple, too, but there's...there's a lot under the surface, if you look closely. I'm still a little new to it, but it feels almost like home.

But enough about me, what about you?
